Typical Meeting Format:
· Our meetings last around 2 hours, plus extra time for networking
· 10 to 15 minutes of member introductions and updates/announcements
· 10 to 15 minutes for discussion/presentation of a relevant topic
· 10 to 15 minute break for member interaction and collaboration
· 1 - 1.5 hour of original music performance (1 song per member) either live or pre-recorded, each member has the option of receiving/giving written critiques of songs (no oral critiques during meeting). For pre-recorded music, bring mp3 on iPhone or iPod or similar device.
· 15 minutes of open time at end to discuss songs 1-on-1, initiate collaboration, meet and talk with other members.
Special Guest Speaker Meeting format:
· Guest speaker meetings last around 2 to 2.5 hours
· 10 to 15 minutes of member introductions and updates/announcements
· 30 to 60 minutes Guest Speaker's presentation of a relevant topic, discussion, and Q&A
· 10 to 15 minute break for member interaction
· 30 to 60 minutes of original music either live or pre-recorded, each member has the option of receiving/giving written critiques of songs (nor oral critiques during meeting)
· 15 to 30 minutes of open time to discuss songs 1-on-1, initiate collaboration, meet and talk with other members and guest speaker.
